Dr. Yamamoto brings more than two decades of experience in radiation detection and security screening technology across national laboratory research, product development, and product line management. He has served as Product Line Manager for the ProVision body scanner at Leidos, Director of Global Radiation Detection at Rapiscan Systems, Senior Engineering Manager at Baker Hughes (Reuter-Stokes), and Chief Scientist at VeriTainer, following a postdoctoral appointment at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physics from UCLA and a B.S. in Applied Physics from Columbia University.
